MASTER TESSINÂ BOZARD,
OWNER AND HEAD INSTRUCTOR
Master Tessin Bozard began her martial life in 2002, receiving her first degree black belt in Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do. Currently, a 5th Dan Kukkiwon Certificate holder and practitioner, she owns and operates Bomchū Martial Arts, a traditional Taekwondo school, in northern NJ. Deeply passionate about creating symmetry in the body, Tessin leans on her study of anatomy and physiology to provide functional and foundational flexibility training to her students. This allows for better fluidity in movement, and also serves to reduce injuries so often endured in martial arts training. Her weapons experience with nunchaku, shinai, staff, and sai have enhanced her martial arts practice, along with informal study of Jujitsu, Muy Thai, and traditional kickboxing. She has taught self-defense classes for private groups as well as corporate environments. Tessin continues her training under Grandmaster Doug Cook, President of the USTA, at Chosun Taekwondo Academy, in Warwick, NY.
